Extension is the Missions Department of His People Potchefstroom. Our aim is to
equip students to spread the Good News of Christ through organized events. These events include:

i. Campus Outreaches
ii. Local Outreaches
iii. International Outreaches

Extension was launched in August 2008. Since then, we have had some awesome experiences!! There have been outreaches to the local community in Potchefstroom, specifically the Hope Again Foundation’s feeding scheme in Ikageng where we ended the year off with a Christmas party for 500 kids!

Our first international outreach took place during November last year when we took a group of 15 people to Swaziland. During the ten days we spent there, we ministered at seven schools, visited the locals at their homes and helped uplift the community. This was an incredible display of God’s love, favour and blessing! We rounded the outreach off with two amazing days of reflection in Mozambique and headed home full of expectation for the next trip to Swaziland.

So, what’s happening in 2009? More local projects, exciting campus outreaches and a few international outreaches which include Sierra Leone, Swaziland and Botswana. So, if your heart beats for outreaches, please get in touch with us! C’mon!! You know you want too…
