Lebogang Youth Development

In 1998 we started our community outreach with a feeding scheme on the rubbish dump in Sonderwater and Greenfields. We are still involved in serving that community today.  Presently we reach out to 100 children from Sonderwater once a week, at the God Compassion Centre.  We preach the Word of God and provide them with a warm, nutritious meal. We also let the children wash their hands, so they can learn about personal hygiene and also teaching of personal values and respect form part of this program.

Pastor Daniel Leping, a volunteer at the Hope Again Foundation, started a choir amongst the children of the Lebogang Youth Development. They practice every Saturday afternoon and according to Pastor Daniel, are excited to learn new songs. They already performed twice at the His People Potchefstroom congregation.
